Top-Notch Sign Services Since 1957
Sign Company Serving Fenton, MO
Piros Signs has built signs for the City of Fenton, the RiverChase YMCA, the Fenton Fire Protection District, and businesses across town. Our headquarters in Barnhart is a short drive south, so the same team that designs and fabricates your sign also permits, installs, and services it.
Lighted and LED Signs for Fenton Businesses
We build every kind of commercial sign local businesses need:
- Illuminated signs: LED-lit cabinets and faces that read clearly day and night.
- LED displays and electronic message centers: Programmable displays for cities, churches, schools, and businesses, set up to follow local rules.
- Pylon and high-rise signs: Tall signs for businesses along I-44, Highway 141, and Gravois Road that need to be seen from the highway.
- Monument signs: Ground-level signs for office parks, public buildings, churches, and schools.
- Storefront signs: Channel letters and wall signs for retail centers and storefronts.
- Digital signs and scoreboards: Scoreboards and digital displays for schools, parks, and athletic facilities.
Sign Installation in Fenton
Our own crews install the signs we build, so one team owns the job from the shop floor to the final inspection, with no handoff to a subcontractor. Learn more about our sign installation services.
Sign Maintenance and Repair in Fenton
A dark letter or a flickering cabinet tells customers you are closed. Our sign and lighting service team repairs damaged signs, replaces failing lighting, converts older signs to LED, and refaces existing cabinets so you can update your brand without replacing the whole structure.
Signs Built for Fenton’s Business Corridors
Fenton mixes busy retail corridors with some of the region’s largest industrial and logistics sites.
- Gravois Road and Gravois Bluffs: Big-box and multi-tenant retail where pylon signs, monument signs, and illuminated wall signs keep every tenant visible.
- I-44 and Highway 141: Highway frontage businesses need tall, lighted signs that read at highway speed.
- Industrial and logistics parks: Manufacturers and distributors need monument signs, building signs, and wayfinding for large sites.
- Parks, schools, and public buildings: LED message signs and monument signs that keep residents informed, like the signs we built at RiverChase.
Sign Permits and Codes in Fenton
Fenton regulates signs under Article IV of the city zoning code. A sign permit from the city is required to erect, alter, replace, relocate, or change any sign, while ordinary maintenance and repair do not need one.
A few rules shape most sign projects here:
- Once the city approves a sign, any building or electrical permit is issued through St. Louis County.
- A sign permit becomes void if the work is not completed within six months of approval.
- The code treats any illuminated sign that flashes or creates the illusion of movement as a flashing sign, so LED displays need to be programmed with that in mind.
Piros handles the permit process for you, including drawings, applications, and code review, so your sign is approved before installation day.
