A dark letter or a flickering cabinet tells customers you are closed. Our sign and lighting service team repairs damaged signs, replaces failing lighting, converts older signs to LED, and refaces existing cabinets so you can update your brand without replacing the whole structure.
Signs Built for Wentzville’s Business Corridors
Wentzville’s commercial areas each call for a different kind of sign.
- I-70 and Highway 61: Interchange restaurants, hotels, and retail need signs that travelers can read from the highway.
- Wentzville Parkway: Shopping centers and multi-tenant retail where monument signs and tenant panels keep every business visible.
- Historic Downtown Wentzville: Smaller storefronts where projecting and wall signs fit the character of the district.
- Industrial and business parks: Manufacturers and distributors need monument signs, building signs, and wayfinding for large sites.
Sign Permits and Codes in Wentzville
Wentzville regulates signs under Article XII of its zoning code, and sign permits are issued by the Community Development Director. A permit is required before any new permanent sign goes up.
A few rules shape most sign projects here:
- Monument signs are limited to 6 feet tall, while pole signs up to 30 feet are allowed in the C-2, C-3, and industrial districts.
- Electronic message centers need director approval and come with conditions, including a site of at least one acre, messages that stay up at least one minute, and amber or red text on a black background.
- Flashing signs and off-premise signs are prohibited, except for billboards in limited areas along I-70, Highway 61, and Highway 64.
Piros handles the permit process for you, including drawings, applications, and code review, so your sign is approved before installation day.
